The Downtown Memphis Commission Board of Directors meets every month on the fourth Friday from January - May and the fourth Thursday from June - December. Meetings are held at 12 noon at DMC's office, 114 North Main.

The Downtown Memphis Commission operations are directed and implemented by its 16-member Downtown Memphis Commission Board of Directors. The board is comprised of:
A professional staff of employees handles the day-to-day operations and provides support and assistance to the DMC Board and its four affiliate boards:
Together these entities provide incentives and assistance to encourage economic growth and development within the Central Business Improvement District.
